Demand on the UK gas system has eased slightly as temperatures across the UK rise but remain below the seasonal norm.  Norwegian

deliveries are coming in around 100MCM and LNG send-out is steady at 30MCM despite the lack of any fresh cargoes for the coming week.  With the system looking more balanced this morning, prompt gas prices at the NBP have opened lower with the day ahead contract down by 0.40p.  The front month is trading 0.34p down on last night's closing level while the Winter 2017 contract is down by 0.48p in early trading this morning.  On the oil markets, yesterday's slide in prices has been halted and Brent crude has gained 37 cents overnight to currently trade at $53.30 a barrel.
