Demand on the UK gas system eased yesterday as temperatures rose across the UK but remained below the seasonal norm. Norwegian deliveries averaged
around 100MCM and LNG send-out was steady at 30MCM following the announcement of 3 fresh cargoes over the coming 2 weeks. Prompt and near futures gas prices moved marginally lower while the front winter shed 0.53p and seasonal contracts further out the curve were down by an average of 0.36p. Crude oil prices steadied yesterday with Brent crude trading within a dollar range and settling just 6 cents up at $52.99 a barrel.
