UK gas demand has picked up to 196MCM this morning and supplies are lagging by 10MCM. LNG supplies remain strong at 56MCM, however, Norwegian flows are down at 25MCM. Prompt prices
have opened firmer with the spot and day ahead products adding 0.20p and 0.75p respectively. Near curve contracts have also opened higher with the front month a half a penny up in early exchanges while the summer 2020 contract has added 0.40p. In the crude oil markets, both benchmarks are down following yesterday's report from the EIA which showed U.S. production reached a new record of 12.6 million barrels per day.
