1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected on kore.ie ("Site"). The Site currently does not collect personal data from visitors. In the future we may collect data via forms (for example WordPress plugins such as WPForms, Gravity Forms) and/or integrate such data into CRM systems. This policy covers the current state and the procedures that will apply if personal data processing occurs.
2. What data we may collect
Currently: no personal data is collected or stored.
In the future we may collect, as applicable:
- Identification data: first and last name;
- Contact: email address and phone number;
- Professional data: company and job title;
- Form submissions including message content and attachments;
- Technical and usage data (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) if logs/analytics are enabled;
- Billing data where applicable.
We will not collect special categories of personal data (sensitive data) except where explicitly provided and with an appropriate legal basis and safeguards.
3. Legal bases for processing
If data is collected, processing will be based on one or more legal bases as applicable: consent (e.g. newsletter sign-up), performance of a contract, legal obligation, or legitimate interests where balanced against data subject rights.
4. Purposes of processing
Data may be used to:
- Respond to contact requests;
- Manage newsletters and communications where consented;
- Integrate data into a CRM for customer/lead management;
- Comply with legal and fiscal obligations;
- Improve the Site and analyse usage (if analytics are used);
- Prevent and detect fraud and protect site security.
5. Recipients and processors
We may share data with processors such as web hosting providers, form plugin providers, CRM vendors and email service providers. Contracts or standard contractual clauses will be used where required to protect personal data.
6. International transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers will be made only on the basis of appropriate safeguards (an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other GDPR-compliant mechanisms).
7. Data retention
Data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Indicative retention periods:
- Contact requests: while needed to respond and for a reasonable business period (for example, 2 years);
- CRM/marketing data: until consent is withdrawn or deletion requested;
- Security logs: per technical best practices (for example, 6–24 months).
8. Data subject rights
Under the GDPR, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (including for marketing), portability and withdrawal of consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission: https://www.dataprotection.ie.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (for example TLS/HTTPS, access controls and backups). No transmission over the Internet is completely secure; contact us for concerns.
10. Cookies
The Site currently does not use cookies that collect personal data. If cookies or analytics are introduced in the future, a consent banner and a cookie policy with accept/decline options will be provided.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16. We will not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent. If we become aware of accidental collection, we will take steps to delete the data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version will be published on the Site with the effective date; where appropriate, users will be notified directly.
